Hi! I’m McCall. Flattered you’re here.

Here’s the part where I’m supposed to go on about myself in a professional-yet-endearing-and-not-too-intimidating way, but here’s the thing — while my work attitude is professional, my general demeanor is relaxed, goofy, and high-energy with a mantra that you can’t control anything. I also love, love, love making art.

So, what can I do for you? Create an easy, collaborative environment where your feedback and requests are always welcome. On a personal note, I always find so much comfort in the fact that other people can be channels for mini-lessons on our own journeys. Ever have someone, out of the blue, say exactly what you needed to hear, exactly when you needed to hear it? Me too.

As I dig deeper into art and design, I constantly find the idea of acting as a channel morphing into a common theme. The fact that I can be the vehicle for someone’s ideas and put my own style aside to create exactly what someone else wants is what keeps me going.

All my drawings are made with colored pencil, pulling inspiration from the people around me, books, and nature. When I’m not drawing, you can typically find me in the sunshine with a Rob Sheffield book in one hand and a cold brew in the other.

Whether you’re looking for a drawing of a place that’s special to you, or just want to take a peek at my work: thank you for being here. I hope my art can bring some joy into your life, remind you to slow down, and not take any of this too seriously.
